COVENANT DISCIPLE GROUPS

    Meet every other Sunday following worship in either Pastor's Office or the Youth Rm.

 

EDUCATION

        Bible Studies are conducted throughout the year.

        Chrysalis Youth Group is held during worship service.

   VOCAL

      Our wonderful Sanctuary Choir meets weekly on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm in           the Choir Room under the direction of Sharon Ericksen.

 

   HANDBELL

      Monarch Bell Choir is a 3 octave handbell choir that meets weekly on        

      Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary under the direction

      of Sharon Ericksen.

 

      Ring '4' Glory is a four-in-hand quartet that meets on the first and third Monday  

      afternoons at 1:30pm in the Sanctuary under the direction of Sharon Ericksen.

    Monthly Men’s Breakfast - Join the UMM on the last Saturday of the month in 
    Grantham Hall. Everyone is welcome to share in the great food and wonderful

   Ruth Circle: Meets Third Tuesday, 7:00PM, location varies


   Family Circle: Meets Quarterly, 12:00pm in Grantham Hall following Worship

   Held the last Friday of every month, all members are invited to a potluck hosted by

   a church member.  Great Food, Great Fun, Great Fellowhip!  

   All are invited; bring a dish to share!

CHURCH MOUSE THRIFT SHOP

The Church Mouse Thrift Shop provides a charitable and tax deductible way for members of the community to donate tangible items that go to benefit others. Through profits, grants are given to support local nonprofit organizations and outreach projects. We donate our unsold merchandise to other nonprofit agencies benefitting the local community.  Our grant application deadline is February 1.  To apply for a grant, click here.

 

EAST SALINAS FAMILY CENTER PROJECTS

Volunteer tutors give of their time and talent to help children  with their homework. The Angel Tree ministry provides presents for children at Christmas.  Financial support is offered through special offerings, tamale sales and Church Mouse gifting.

 

I-HELP

I-HELP provides overnight lodging for men who are homeless. Volunteers plan, prepare, and serve supper and provide breakfast, lunch, and clothing as needed.

 

VOLUNTEERS IN MISSION (VIM)

Church members travel annually to third world countries.

 

LOCAL OUTREACH

Food donations on the first Sunday of each month United Methodist Foundation provides scholarships to local high school seniors Youth Outreach makes donations through funds collected at bake sales

    Annual Thanksgiving Harvest altar food collections

    Fund raising for United Methodist Committee 

    Needlework projects to support children in third world countries

    Support local community organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous,

    Girl Scouts, Habitat for Humanity support, etc.
