One Starfish
Safe Parking Program

It is an honor to be part of this amazing program that provides safe, off the street, overnight parking for homeless living in their cars.  A vast majority of the homeless guests are women between the ages of 20-85, often with children. Circumstances that lead to their homelessness are often, divorce, death of spouse, loss of job, spousal abuse, foreclosure, and rising rents. The goal of the program is, in addition to providing a safe place to sleep in their cars, to help them to find permanent housing, a source of greater income, and access to health care.
